GOLD launch

The GOLD year starts with a weeklong in-person global gathering in February. If that is not possible, the start will be a weeklong series of Zoom meetings.

Purpose or outcome

• Build GOLD community among the participants.
• Meet global leaders and learn from them. 
• Create your own learning journey for the year.
• Meet your coach and coaching group. 

Process

1. Participate actively in all sessions; complete the group work assigned and present.
2. Create your own learning journey based on this document. 
3. Share your learning journey plan with your coach and coaching group.
4. Share your GOLD experience, e.g. lessons learnt, with your team leader after the launch and three times during the year. 
5. Reflect on what you are learning and implementing, and how you will continue engaging with a coach and developing as a leader post-GOLD.

Other GOLD meetings

There will be quarterly all-cohort Zoom meetings, likely in May, September and November.

Purpose or outcome

• Build GOLD community among the participants.
• Work, plan and solve problems in a cross-cultural setting, present your findings, and receive feedback.
